New York Fashion Week

So it has begun once again... the month of everything fashion! As usual it starts in New York and is amazing every time. The only thing I always have difficulty with is the seasons, I finally accept fall is coming and we have a whole month of spring / summer looks walking down the runway which makes me excited for summer again.

Back to Reality
For most of us today is the day we go back to reality. For some its the first day back to school, and for everyone it marks that last of summer vacation and into fall. This long weekend we packed up the car and went camping. Now I will be the first to admit I am not one for camping, but the boyfriend is so we try to do one trip a year with a few good friends. With good friends, cold beers and some friendly competition at washer toss it was a great time. Having a horrible cold on the other hand was not fun at all!
We all survived the weekend and my health is slowly coming back. Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend!

Office Space

When it comes to my home office, I don't really take advantage of having because I do all my work on my laptop which is portable. This means its mostly being used in the living room so I can watch TV or in the bedroom. So now we have a good friend that's been staying with us for a little bit so the home office is now a bedroom for the time being.

MTV Video Music Awards
So last night was a rather windy night as Irene made her presences know in Nova Scotia, and along with hopping the power didn't go out it was also the MTV Video Music Awards. It was some show Lady Gaga came as ... well she didn't really rather it was Mister Gaga and the thinner Johan Hill gets he becomes even more awkward. All together it was entertaining to watch even if there was no host and the longer Gaga was on stage the more annoyed it got with her or his act.
But it's really not all about the music, it's also who wore what and who wore it best. It is the VMA's of course not everyone is dressed to the nines, or at least tried and missed the mark completely.

City Limits

Today while roaming the world wide web I came across this video. Upon pressing play I had no idea what I was in for. When it started playing I was sucked in and hypnotized by the visuals in the video. Being in fashion this video may not have models walking the catwalk in Paris or designers working in there studios but it is inspiring, and we all know fashion comes with inspiration.
The artist of this amazing video is Dominic Boudreault, he is just not your everyday photographer but he is an motion photographer. I encourage all of you to check out his work and hope you enjoy the video as much as I did.
