February Favorites

Well its that time again that we all wait for, monthly favourites! We all crowd around our monitors and TV's to read and watch what everyone has been loving last month. So who would I be to deny this from you. I myself is one like you who gets excited at month end waiting and refreshing my feeds to see what I need to try the next month.
So please keep reading into what I have been using non stop last month!

Lets start with the base for flawless skin which would be skin care.
Skin care is so important if you want glowing youthful look skin. Make up is only a temporary fix to the problem, almost like a band aid. These products have been getting me through this tough winter in Canada.

{Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collegen Booster $60 CAD}

This serum has five sources of Vitamin C complex which helps natural collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines and in turn brightens the skin. This is meant for the morning and the nice light citrus scent is a great energizer for the morning.

 {Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment $56 CAD}

The Invigorating Night treatment is just that invigorating. This treatment of essential vitamins and minerals helps natural cell turnover which helps smooth appearance. It is an amazing treatment for the winter time when your (at least mine) skin does't really know what it wants to do. It also is very invigorating as you can feel it working in spots that may need more help then others.

{Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask $108 CAD}

Fresh just released there newest addition to the black tea family and I am now hooked. This is an moisturizing overnight mask that works in turn with your natural skins recovery at night time. The end result is a lifted and firmer look by the time you wake up in the morning.

{Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 $26 CAD}

This Fresh lip treatment is intensely moisturizing, and not only that but can protect your lips year round from UV rays. Made with Sugar that can actual prevent moisture loss and a blend of amazing natural oils and lots more of naturals ingredients.

{Naked Basics 2 $34 CAD}

This palette is not new but is amazing if your looking for great matte nude shade. All of these shades are perfect to create a gorgeous natural day look that can be easily transformed to night. The small size and great sized mirror makes this palette perfect for travel (hence why it doesn't look that prefect anymore due to dropping it while away.)

{Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner $26 CAD}

The Stila eyeliner has now become one of my all time favourite eyeliners and the only one that I can achieve an winged eye. Besides that it truly does stay all day without moving till night time when I take my make up off.

{Urban Decay Naked Skin $45 CAD}

Urban Decay not to long ago released there line for foundations, and they are AMAZING. I absolutely love this foundation since first trying it I have re bought it twice. This is a medium to full coverage foundation. However with a little of fix plus sprayed on the foundation brush could sheer it out to light sheer coverage. I just the versatility of the foundation with a flat matte finish but its never dull at the same time with a weightless feel.

{Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography $19.44 CAD}

Its NPH AND its a Choose your own adventure style book that is also his autobiography.
Who wouldn't love that!

I usually like making playlist on Spotify with what I have been listening to during the month. However this month I just couldn't stop listening to one artist would came out with a new album. Drakes new album "If you're reading this its too late" came out as a surprise album and its just to good. CLICK HERE TO Listen if you like Drake!

Musical Mondays

It always seems that when life couldn't get any better the universe will agree with that statement. Your world can go from perfect harmony then all of a sudden stop. Throwing everything in complete chaos and a state of confusion. All of a sudden you can't tell whats up from down, but you just keep holding on for dear life know and praying that this is just a moment in time. That this too shall pass, as long as you keep yourself buckled in and hanging on you will get through this. As the saying goes, it always get worse before it gets better. Or lets just throw all the cheesy lines right at you. Its always darkest before the dawn. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Everything has a meaning or purpose for your life you just can't see it yet.
Well whatever saying can get you to hold on a little more its worth believing. As for myself I have my armour on and I'm just going to try to run through this phase as fast as possible.
Enough of my mindless ranting, aside from cheesy quotes what really helps me get through anything the good and the bad is music.
I will leave you all with the cover of Rihanna's song stay done by Jared Leto.
Enjoy!

Dreams

Music Monday!
Its been a pretty rainy, windy, cold, and down right miserable weekend here in Nova Scotia. When its weather like this I really like to stay in bed and listen to some great music. These kind of days I like to listen to indie folkie music like Fleetwood Mac.
Dana Williams and Leighton Meester did a cover of the bands song Dreams.
What kind of music you listen to when the weather gets you down?
