May Favourites

This year is just going way to fast for me, its already mid June!! So I know I am already a little late to game for this months faves but I thought better a little then not at all. For this month I really don't have to many. If you are interested in any of the products mentioned here just click on the picture or the link below for shopping details. Hope you enjoy!

Who doesn't want to put 24k Gold on there face! This is great mask for lifting and firm, and for those days that you just want to feel like a queen. With real gold and caffeine this will really helps aid in lifting and firming the skin leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

For my morning routine I prefer the simpler the better. Once the alarm rings I hit the snooze button 5 more times (sleep for me trumps having a great morning routine.) I would always be the worst for morning skin care until this came into my life. This is a great cleansing treatment that requires no rinsing and makes you're skin feel clean and fresh. Apply with a cotton pad to the face followed by your moisturizer and you are good to go! So lets just hit the snooze just one more time.

Who doesn't love the Hourglass Ambient line? I was so excited to see when they came out with bronzers for the summer. These are amazing to give you the right amount of glow for the summer without having to much shimmer or being to orange. I prefer to apply this with a big fluffy brush all over the face focusing on the area's that the sun would hit naturally.

I have recently fallen in love with this little duo. I haven't really been contouring a lot with it but the highlight in this has been my go to. The pearl pink is great as a highlight for the check bones and brows. I have been reaching for this on the daily.

Mumford and Sons really changed it up this time around. Deciding to leave the acoustic sound behind and evolve to more electric with more electric guitars vs banjos and it really paid off. I will have to admit it sound even better on vinyl which made me fall in love with this album even more. My favourite song from the whole album is Believe. I have that one on repeat whenever I can!

Hope you enjoyed my favourites!

February Favorites

Well its that time again that we all wait for, monthly favourites! We all crowd around our monitors and TV's to read and watch what everyone has been loving last month. So who would I be to deny this from you. I myself is one like you who gets excited at month end waiting and refreshing my feeds to see what I need to try the next month.
So please keep reading into what I have been using non stop last month!

Lets start with the base for flawless skin which would be skin care.
Skin care is so important if you want glowing youthful look skin. Make up is only a temporary fix to the problem, almost like a band aid. These products have been getting me through this tough winter in Canada.

{Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collegen Booster $60 CAD}

This serum has five sources of Vitamin C complex which helps natural collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines and in turn brightens the skin. This is meant for the morning and the nice light citrus scent is a great energizer for the morning.

 {Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment $56 CAD}

The Invigorating Night treatment is just that invigorating. This treatment of essential vitamins and minerals helps natural cell turnover which helps smooth appearance. It is an amazing treatment for the winter time when your (at least mine) skin does't really know what it wants to do. It also is very invigorating as you can feel it working in spots that may need more help then others.

{Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask $108 CAD}

Fresh just released there newest addition to the black tea family and I am now hooked. This is an moisturizing overnight mask that works in turn with your natural skins recovery at night time. The end result is a lifted and firmer look by the time you wake up in the morning.

{Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 $26 CAD}

This Fresh lip treatment is intensely moisturizing, and not only that but can protect your lips year round from UV rays. Made with Sugar that can actual prevent moisture loss and a blend of amazing natural oils and lots more of naturals ingredients.

{Naked Basics 2 $34 CAD}

This palette is not new but is amazing if your looking for great matte nude shade. All of these shades are perfect to create a gorgeous natural day look that can be easily transformed to night. The small size and great sized mirror makes this palette perfect for travel (hence why it doesn't look that prefect anymore due to dropping it while away.)

{Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner $26 CAD}

The Stila eyeliner has now become one of my all time favourite eyeliners and the only one that I can achieve an winged eye. Besides that it truly does stay all day without moving till night time when I take my make up off.

{Urban Decay Naked Skin $45 CAD}

Urban Decay not to long ago released there line for foundations, and they are AMAZING. I absolutely love this foundation since first trying it I have re bought it twice. This is a medium to full coverage foundation. However with a little of fix plus sprayed on the foundation brush could sheer it out to light sheer coverage. I just the versatility of the foundation with a flat matte finish but its never dull at the same time with a weightless feel.

{Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography $19.44 CAD}

Its NPH AND its a Choose your own adventure style book that is also his autobiography.
Who wouldn't love that!

I usually like making playlist on Spotify with what I have been listening to during the month. However this month I just couldn't stop listening to one artist would came out with a new album. Drakes new album "If you're reading this its too late" came out as a surprise album and its just to good. CLICK HERE TO Listen if you like Drake!

June Faves

Okay can I just take a moment and ask where is the time going!? I feel like I am constantly been saying this everyday but still don't have any answers. June has came and went way to fast! Well lets just get into it shall we and talk about some faves that I have been loving!

St Tropez Sunless Tanner mousse
I have been utterly obsessed with this stuff now. Im the kind of girl that enjoys the summer and the warmth but can not just lay there soaking up the rays. This is where st tropez comes in handy! You just need to apply this a few time a week then before you know it you will be a golden goddess!

Hoola Benefit bronzer
On the same topic of being a golden goddess this bronzer is really as amazing as everyone says it is. I kept hearing so many great things so i thought to finally give it a try. I have always found it was hard to find the perfect bronzer for contouring. I find it even harder when i am so fair, so its nearly impossible to find a good one that doesn’t make you look muddy. This one is just perfect for when I am fair or tan depending how much you use! This is defiantly worth the hype.

Soap & Glory Lemon and brown sugar scrub
To conclude this golden goddess post about june faves this scrub is just fab. It smells amazing. It just has a hint of lemon scent with a bit of a sugary undertone to it. In order to have a fab tan you must exfoliate so that is the main reason why I pop this guy in my basket to try. I love when you just grab a random item just cause you need it and it turns out to be amazing! I will most diffently be keeping this guy around and re-buying when I run out!

Zoella Youtuber
Zoella Sugg is the cutest you tuber ever! I have been watching her for some time now. For the whole month of June she had been vlogging everyday. Im really hoping she keeps up with the vlogs, I really enjoy following her around (that does’t sound creepy at all) during the day. She just finished up at VidCon and it looked amazing!

May Favourites

For the month of May I don't really have to much newness. I honestly haven't been trying anything really new, but the few things that I have tried I absolutely love. Some of these items I have been looking at for awhile now and finally just bite the bullet and bought. So lets get into the goodness that is May faves.

First on the list is my Fossil watch, I have been on the hunt for a great watch for some time know and finally stumbled upon this guy. I love that its two toned with the gold and tortoise shell in between. I honestly have been wearing this guy with everything!

The trendy midi rings are next on my list. I got these little guys at Forever 21 for under two dollars so how could I pass them up.  With trendy things like these I don't really like spending lots of money since I don't know how long this trend will stick around. Also I tend to have ADD when it comes to trends where I will get bored of them super fast. But for less then 2 dollars I think I try it out for a few months.

Since we are talking about accessories I dug out my Coach bag for spring and fell in love with it all over again. This little bag has been great for the spring and can easily go with anything in my wardrobe, can't say enough about this Coach bag.

This little beauty product I honestly have been look at for ages and I finally caved and bought it. Let me just tell you I am so happy that I did. This has been my go to for spring when I started to wear more skirts and dress as the weather started to turn. This little gem is amazing, its not orange and its gives you just the right about of colour to make you legs flawless. I also will be the first to admit I am the worst at sunless tanning. I always seem to get blotchy and streaky no matter if I exfoliate and use a mitt to apply. With this you just spray in your hand and rub in and it applies so evenly its idiot proof for people like me! The best part is its instant and one day only, so if you decide last minuet you want to wear a skirt take this out and your legs will look amazing!

My last favourite for this month is an you tuber who I have been following for awhile now. I can not get enough of youtube lately. The first thing I do when I get home is sit down and watch my subscription feed then later Adam and I will sit for hours just watching random videos and fails. Sawyer Hartman make incredible short films and some hilarious challenges with fellow you tubers. To be able to watch his progression in film making is amazing, he just keeps getting better! I can not wait to be able to see his films on the big screen one day. Below is his latest short film Welcome to Tokyo, take a moment and watch if you like definitely go over to his channel and subscribe cause its only going to get better!
