Everyday Hero

Today's post is kind of a last minute thought. I was originally going to post a relationship post but I may save that one for another day. I was struck with inspiration yesterday while watching YouTube when Kid President came up in my sub feed. This little guy is beyond inspirational and always makes me so happy. 

This new episode he talks about heroes and how everyone is a hero. It really got me thinking as to whom really influenced my life and who I would call as heroes.

The biggest hero that I have encountered in my life would go with out a doubt my mother. This women has been through so much that most people would be torn down by whereas she still stands tall and laughs it off. From leaving an horrible relationship, being a single mother, having everything to next to nothing, and fighting breast cancer and winning the battle she is the definition of super women in my eyes. She is the kind of person who doesn't care who you are, or what you do, if you need the shirt off her back she would that. I am beyond blessed to have someone of such strength to look up too and that I can only dream to have her strength one day! 

The other biggest hero in my life would have to be my amazing fiancée Adam. He has been by my side for six years now supporting me through every decision I make. He reminds me everyday of how proud he is of me no matter how small the goal might have been. Asides from supporting me he has such a caring and giving personality that he is another person who could careless of how much or little money you make, he believes everyone has a story and battle that they are fighting. 

These are just two heroes that I get to encounter everyday who make me so blessed to have them.

Summer Playlist

As I embark on my summer to do list I thought it would be even better with a music playlist. What's any good adventure without a great tunes to accompany it. 

This is my summer playlist that I will be listing to all summer long! I find that this playlist really showcase how all over the place I am when it comes to music. On here we have some pop, country, and rap.

Wedding Wednesday

Welcome on and all to a new series that I would like to call Wedding Wednesday. 

Every so often on an wednesday I will be talking about... you guessed it weddings. As I am currently engaged I thought I would bring you guys along the wedding planning. However I do not currently have a date set as of right now, but that is not stopping me at looking, cutting and pasting, and of course pinning. 

Today we are going to look at a small wedding that took placed a few days ago. Not a whole lot of people knew about it and even less were actually invited. It took placed in the middle of no where very low key, just like the bride and groom themselves. The couple is very down to earth and really are just like you and me. So who may I be talking about, well the only people that would match all of those qualities of course would be the Kim and Kanye! 

Married in Florence, Italy where they exchanged traditional vows in front of a sky high white flower wall. The location was stunning along with Kim and Kanye. Both wearing Givenchy looking very classy and elegant. Kim's dress was an white lace Givenchy Haute Couture gown complete with a long silk veil. I am loving everything about there wedding from the decor to the gown to baby North, who was sitting front row with grandma Kris. 

Congratulations to both of them, I am really holding out for some hope for them!

Patio Gardens

The temperature is finally rising which means the snow shovels are gone and the lawn mowers and planters are out! However living in an apartment can be difficult if you enjoy landscaping and everything that goes with it. Sometimes you just want to be around nature after spending your days indoors. Below are some inspiration for patio gardening when your living in an apartment. Im hoping to give some of these a try this summer to bring some nature to my patio.

Musical Mondays

It always seems that when life couldn't get any better the universe will agree with that statement. Your world can go from perfect harmony then all of a sudden stop. Throwing everything in complete chaos and a state of confusion. All of a sudden you can't tell whats up from down, but you just keep holding on for dear life know and praying that this is just a moment in time. That this too shall pass, as long as you keep yourself buckled in and hanging on you will get through this. As the saying goes, it always get worse before it gets better. Or lets just throw all the cheesy lines right at you. Its always darkest before the dawn. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Everything has a meaning or purpose for your life you just can't see it yet. 

Well whatever saying can get you to hold on a little more its worth believing. As for myself I have my armour on and I'm just going to try to run through this phase as fast as possible. 

Enough of my mindless ranting, aside from cheesy quotes what really helps me get through anything the good and the bad is music.
